Over the past few years vocalist, producer and composer Sasha Masakowski has been developing a solo project called “Tra$h Magnolia,” featuring all original electronic/ pop influenced material, which Sasha performs live using various synthesizers, loop machines and drum sequencers. Her debut EP, Exist, was produced and arranged entirely by Sasha, and mixed and mastered by Jay Wesley (Alex Ebert, Beach House). The tracks feature synthesist Jason Lindner (David Bowie, Donny McCaslin) and drummer Simon Lott (Charlie Hunter, Germaine Bazzle) as special guests. 

Sasha has performed as Tra$h Magnolia at notable clubs such as Blue Note NYC, Brooklyn Bowl, and Kennedy Center, and played at NY Winter Jazz Fest, Nublu Jazz Festival (NYC), JaiThep festival (Chiang Mai, Thailand) and Aarhus Lydkunst Festival (Denmark).
